I'm so excited.  My family came with me today and helped me pick out a wedding dress!  I think everyone really loves it.  I'm surprised to say, but I found the experience to be somewhat enjoyable.  It wasn't the fun of trying on 80  some pound dresses, but the interaction of me, my family, and the sales assistant.  I was lucky enough to have my Dad come along (my whole family values his opinion and his sharp eye for taste).   At one point after trying on a big satin dress, he said it looked like I was 'walking around in a container'.  Thank goodness I didn't get that dress :)  Anyhow, at least that parts done.  Now for the fitting - woo-hoo!
