The latest forecast says that it will be pretty hot for the reception Saturday afternoon. (The forecast also predicts a 30% chance of rain but we're hoping that doesn't happen.) We have decided that for the reception, our guests can change clothes if they wish to wear something more comfortable. Of course, if you do not wish to change clothes from your wedding wear that's fine too. My parents are hosting a 'hospitality suite' at their hotel after the wedding, so feel free to use their suite to change clothes if you don't have a hotel room of your own.

Can't wait to see everyone! We are both very excited and just a bit nervous about all the last-minute preparations.

We picked the Oakencroft Winery to be the location of our reception. It's a really beautiful place, and we think it will be the perfect location to celebrate our marriage with friends and family on a pleasant June evening in Charlottesville. This photo was taken at the top of the hill where the cocktail hour will take place before the actual reception. We're really excited to have the reception here and we hope you will enjoy it as well!
